NZQA units 167 and 168
To suit your needs, we currently offer three ways to do Food Safety training with us.
Unit 167 – Half day Course ** $150 (incl. GST)
A fun and interactive half day course that covers the basic principles of practices that result in safe food.
People accredited with unit 167 are able to maintain effective person hygiene when working with food, prevent cross-contamination and measure, record and act upon the temperature of high risk food.

PETONE – “Speights Ale House” on the corner of Jackson & Victoria Streets, Petone (enter the venue from the door on Victoria Street, which is at rear of building by the car park and go upstairs to first floor).

What to bring to the course – Pen, writing paper if you wish to take additional notes although there is plenty of room in your course workbook to write notes; your lunch – however there are cafés situated close to the venue.
Self-paced option (Unit 167 and/or 168) $180 each unit incl. GST
Do the learning and assessment in your own time, wherever you chose. We provide all the course materials for you to read and exercise questions to answer in your own time, at your own pace. Once you feel you know and understand the information contact us to arrange a time for your Assessment.
A half or one day course for groups of people as requested by an employer – to be run in your workplace or an alternative venue can be arranged.
