167 Food Safety - Carterton 22 January 2020


Unit 167 Food Safety - This training is ideal for people working with, or intending to work with food.  NZQA Unit 167 covers the basic principles and practices that result in safe food.  People accredited with Unit 167 are able to maintain effective personal hygiene when working with food, prevent cross contamination and measure, record and act upon the temperature of high risk food.  The course fee includes registering the results with NZQA and your unit certificate (accepted by councils as proof of training).


Course Hours - Starts 8.30am sharp and we should be finished by 12.30pm.

What To Bring - A photocopy of some form of photo ID (e.g. Passport, Drivers Licence or 18+ Card).  Morning and afternoon tea are provided, but attendees will need to source their own lunch.

Cancellation - As we require numbers for catering purposes please advise us as soon as possible if the person booked on the course is unable to attend.  You may be charged a cancellation fee if we have not been advised.
