Why do people know us as D.A. Richards & Associates? In January 2008 we purchased the "business activities" and "trading name" of a company called DA Richards & Associates. We did not purchase the registered company or the NZQA provider called Richards & Associates Ltd, as we are a registered company and an NZQA approved provider in our own right under our registered name Longlas Ltd (Innovative Hospitality). Why have we been trading under the name D.A. Richards & Associates? DA Richards & Associates was a well known company in the Wellington region delivering Liquor Licence (LCQ) courses and assisting business with On, Off, Club & Special Licence applications for premises (new licences and renewals, as well as Temporary Authorities). The owner of DA Richards & Associates was moving to Australia and closing down his business so as we were also in the hospitality training business we offerred to take over his clients in the Wellington region and have used his trading name and contact phone numbers from January 2008 onwards to ensure a smooth transition for David's clients. However - as of 1 October 2009 we ceased to use the DA Richards & Associates trading name and will use our name of Innovative Hospitality. Innovative Hospitality has been delivering Liquor Licence training and other hospitality courses all over NZ since 1996.
